On April 1st (Saturday), during the 2017 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 5 match against Sagan Tosu (16:00 kickoff at Ajinomoto Stadium), we implemented the "Children and Youth Development Support Project - Expanding the Future for Children through Soccer." We hereby report as follows.
□ Co-hosted
FC Tokyo, Certified Specified Nonprofit Corporation Sodatte Age Net
□ Support
Fuchu City
□ Target
Junior high school students in Fuchu City
□Implementation Details
Currently, support for children from low-income families is being provided based on the Act on Support for Independence of Living for the Needy. On the other hand, beyond just academic support, there is a need for career design education that looks towards the future, the cultivation of work ethics, and the establishment of systems that provide opportunities for work experience to complement these efforts.
Continuing from last year, we have worked on the 'Child and Youth Development Support Project' in collaboration with the certified specified non-profit organization, Sodateage Net, with the slogan 'A future that expands for children through soccer.'
This time, we would like to invite middle school students from Fuchu City to experience an inspiring time with their friends by watching an FC Tokyo match. Additionally, we provided an opportunity for each student to engage in career design related to soccer beforehand, and on the day of the match, they were able to observe and learn about the various roles of people working at Ajinomoto Stadium.
The certified specified non-profit organization Sodatage Net (Tachikawa City, Tokyo / Chairman Keisuke Kudo) provides employment support for young unemployed individuals and assistance to children from impoverished families.
