U-15 Fukagawa France Expedition Day 4

Starting today with a walk.
It seems that the condition is gradually improving.
I had a hearty breakfast and, like yesterday, did a little training after breakfast to get my body moving.

Perhaps because it is finally the first day of the tournament, the players seem a bit nervous.
The tournament venue is the place where the training match was held yesterday, but the atmosphere was completely different from yesterday.

The sky was cloudy before the match, but suddenly rain wet the natural grass.
In such pitch conditions, the players prepare well for the match.

In the first match, unlike the games in Japan, it makes you feel what it's like to compete in an international match against an opponent that comes at you fiercely.
Fukagawa started the match well but could not score, ending the first half at 0-0.
The intense back-and-forth continued without any score changes, but a momentary lapse allowed for a goal to be conceded.
Fukagawa, who does not give up, attacks the opponent's territory but fails to break through their solid defense, losing 0-1.

The second match will be played on artificial turf, so the pitch conditions are good.

In the first match, the game started with a slightly changed lineup, and in the first half, we were overwhelmed by the opponent's momentum, resulting in two goals conceded.
In the second half, after substituting players, we gradually increased our time in the opponent's court.
Then, from a free kick, Konno scored directly, making it 1-2.
With this momentum, Fukagawa further gained a penalty kick, which Konno converted to equalize.
I wanted to turn the game around, but we lost 2-3 after conceding a long shot from a loose ball.

The first day of the tournament ended with two matches and two losses.

It was a two-match experience of the world's strength, such as the opponent's competitiveness and maintaining concentration until the end.
The qualifying league continues tomorrow.
We will switch our mindset and fight as a team to achieve victory in both matches.
