Player Comments
This year, I have not been able to contribute by playing in matches, and I feel very sorry for transferring mid-season in the position of team captain. Since joining the Tokyo Academy at the age of 12, it has been my dream to wear the captain's armband with the number 4 and raise the trophy. I have a strong desire to win in Tokyo. I really struggled with the decision to transfer while being in a position to aim for victory, but I believe that I need to take on this challenge now, and I made my decision.
During my time in Tokyo, I am confident that I loved Tokyo and my hometown, Kodaira, more than anyone else. Although I will be on loan this time, the fact that Tokyo is the club that has nurtured me not only as a football player but also as a person will never change.
I sincerely hope that my beloved Tokyo, with whom I have walked for more than half of my life, will win the league championship.
To all the fans and supporters, and to everyone involved, thank you for your support during difficult times and when we were truly struggling.
