□Player Comment
"I have decided to transfer to Nagoya Grampus.
I am very sorry to leave the team during the season. It was a very difficult decision to transfer while having the possibility of winning.
Looking back over the past six months, while the team has been maintaining good form, I have had strong feelings of anxiety and uncertainty about whether this is enough for me. After much contemplation and struggle, I decided to transfer, wanting to challenge myself in a new environment and grow more as a player.
Starting my professional career in Tokyo, I have played as a Tokyo player for nine and a half years, including time at the Tokyo academy. I take pride in being able to play at Ajinomoto Stadium and have had countless experiences that I am grateful for.
I believe that who I am today is thanks to the coaches, staff, players, and everyone involved who have supported me so far.
We can only express our gratitude to the fans and supporters who have given us their passionate support and courage, both at Ajinomoto Stadium and in distant away games, during both good and bad times for the team.
I will no longer be Yuichi MARUYAMA of FC Tokyo, but I will do my best to show my growth.
Thank you for 9 and a half years
