Day 4 of the England Expedition for U-15

Fourth day of the England expedition.
On the second day of the tournament, there was a match between the Premier League powerhouses Manchester City and Arsenal.

The opponent in the first match, Manchester City, lost to Arsenal yesterday, so they seem determined to secure the 3 points at all costs.

Tokyo conceded a goal early in the first half due to a mistake in their own territory that led to the loss of the ball.
Furthermore, we were unable to stop the opponent's high-quality build-up and side attacks that utilized individual skills, resulting in a goal conceded. The situation is difficult at 0-2.

Still, the scenes where they move in good coordination in both offense and defense are increasing, gradually advancing into the opponent's court.
Then, Iwane brings the ball into the penalty area and draws a foul from the opponent. Iwane converts the penalty kick earned from this, making it 1-2.

Tokyo wanted to make a comeback from here, but they couldn't withstand the opponent's techniques and physicality, which cannot be experienced in Japan, and they conceded multiple goals, ending the match 1-5.

The second match continues with Arsenal, who have won 2 matches so far.
Six players over 185 cm tall participated, and although it was a team that required technical players, Tokyo boldly faced the challenge.

From the start of the first half, there were scenes where the opponent players were frustrated due to collective defense.

Still, we conceded a goal from the opponent's cross and lost the opening goal.
However, immediately after, Kajiura brought the ball built up from the DF line into the opponent's penalty area, drew in the opposing DF, and connected with Moritsugi, who ran into the space created and scored with his right foot to equalize.

After that, we were pushed back by the opponent, leading to a difficult period, but we managed to hold on by putting our bodies on the line.
Dribbled into the center along our goal line and scored directly from an impossible angle, making it 1-2.

The match ends here, experiencing the world-class level and finishing the group stage in 3rd place with 1 draw and 2 losses.

In the final day tomorrow, the 9th and 10th place deciding match will be against Anderlecht from Belgium, and we will fight for victory to bridge the gap we felt today in the two matches against the world.
