[U-18] Abu Dhabi Expedition Day 1

U-18 will embark on a training camp in Abu Dhabi, UAE starting today.

The players received encouragement from Director Okuhara of the training department at Narita Airport before departure, and reaffirmed the purpose of this expedition.

Teppei OKA, representing the players, declared, "I will do my best to not lose to foreign players in both my emotions and play. I will also become stronger as an individual and return to Japan."
After a flight of about 13 hours, we arrived at Abu Dhabi Airport in the United Arab Emirates at midnight local time.
We moved to the hotel from there and arrived safely at our destination.

Hotel breakfast is buffet style.
All of them were delicious, and the players were piling various dishes on their plates and eating them all without leaving any behind.

Orientation for the expedition was conducted during the day.
We received a talk from the person in charge of the Japan International Cooperation Center, discussing the purpose and background of this expedition, while also touching on the international relationship between Japan and the UAE.
Incorporating a quiz format, the players seemed to have fun learning.

Training was conducted on this day.
The temperature was around 24℃ and the humidity was low, making for a comfortable climate.
Players push themselves to the limit by doing various training exercises such as running and using the ball!

After that, we moved to the stadium to watch the AE League.
During halftime, we had the opportunity to interact with local Japanese residents while enjoying light snacks.
Children received a ballpoint pen as a gift from the players. Everyone was delighted.

We will continue our expedition while experiencing various people and cultures!
