5th day of England expedition.
Today, we will be moving from Sunderland, where we have been taken care of, to our next base, Burnley.
During the trip, the players were very excited to stop by Manchester and visit Old Trafford.
We arrived in Manchester before noon and had lunch at a restaurant near Old Trafford.
And, let's go to Old Trafford!
I walked about 10 minutes from the restaurant to the stadium, and the weather was nice. It was really pleasant to see historical buildings and scenery.
And when I entered the stadium... It started from the museum where the history and trophies were displayed, then the stands, press conference room, VIP room, VIP seats, concourse, player locker room, waiting area for player entrance, and finally the pitch and player bench in that order.
During the trip, the guide shared a lot about the history of the club and the people involved, and I felt once again that it is a club with a rich history and tradition.
We were also able to experience player entrance thanks to the guide's arrangements, and the players taught us things like "this is where ○○ always sits" in the player's bench, allowing us to experience the feeling of being a player.
When I told the players, "Work hard so that you can sit here in the future with your own strength," they responded with a reassuring comment, "I won't just sit here, I'll be playing in the game!" I really hope they can make it happen!
Finally, we bought souvenirs and moved to Burnley.
After arriving at the Burnley hotel, we each spent our free time walking around and then had dinner.
After dinner, we will have our usual post-match review meeting.
We reviewed the details while watching the scenes of conceding goals against Newcastle.
After the meeting, individual interviews were conducted between the new first and second year students and Coach Nakamura, and then we went to bed after talking for about 10 minutes each.
Tomorrow's match will be against Burnley FC.
In England, there are only two more games left, so we will do our best to aim for our first victory!
