□Comment from Kazunori YOSHIMOTO
“I have not been able to contribute in matches this year, and it has not been easy to make an impact, so I am very sorry for being transferred in the middle of the season while serving as the players’ chairman, responsible for uniting the team. I joined Tokyo’s Academy at the age of 12, and I dreamed of wearing the captain’s armband with the number 4 jersey. I strongly wanted to become a champion with Tokyo. I was really conflicted about transferring from a team where I could compete for the championship, but I felt I needed to take on a new challenge and made the decision.
I am confident that I have loved Tokyo more than anyone, and during my time here, I have felt like a local grandfather in Kodaira. Although this transfer is temporary, Tokyo will always be the club that nurtured me both as a football player and as a person.
I sincerely hope that my beloved Tokyo, which has been a part of more than half of my life, will win the league.
Thank you very much to the fans, supporters, stakeholders, and everyone who supported me during difficult and painful times.”
