First Day of the Spain Expedition
The expedition members gathered at Narita Airport, full of energy after finishing school. The 8-day expedition to Spain starts today.
Before departure, Coach Fujiyama said, "Many people have prepared and supported us so that everyone can go on this expedition. Let's approach this expedition once again with a feeling of 'gratitude'."
A total flight time of 16 hours with a transit in Istanbul, Turkey.
Some players showed a slightly tired expression, but they arrived safely in Madrid, Spain.
At the airport, I will meet with Paris, who will be attending to us during this expedition.
Strolling through the streets of Madrid, we went to a restaurant for lunch. The paella we had there was exquisite.
After arriving at the hotel, training at a nearby practice field.
We had fun training focused on ball passing and game-like drills while loosening our stiff bodies from long travel.
After dinner, we held a meeting to confirm the goals and challenges to tackle during this expedition. The first day has concluded.
Tomorrow, we will have a training match against Atletico Madrid.
We will all work together to achieve a good start by winning our first match in Spain!
