I met FC Tokyo, gained a dream, and every day since has been so enjoyable that this club has given me a reason to live. One of my goals has been to wear the FC Tokyo emblem and continue to thrive.
This season, while fighting in a particularly all-out battle, I found myself spending days not involved in matches, and I began to think whether it was okay to continue like this, whether staying with the team would be a plus for both Tokyo and myself. Just at that timing, I received an offer, and after much deliberation, I decided to transfer.
Suddenly, the words of a certain senior came to mind.
"Be a footballer before being an FC Tokyo lover"
I love football as much as I love FC Tokyo. I will do my best to reach the top in the soccer I love so much!
Without a doubt, who I am today is thanks to FC Tokyo. No matter where I go, my gratitude for being raised in blue and red will never change. And I believe this is the beginning of the second chapter of Kiichi YAJIMA. As a player of Omiya Ardija, I will shine brighter than anyone else.
