Report on the Sensory Room Implementation for the Kyoto Match on 9/18 (Sunday)
On Aug 8 (Sun) during the match against Kyoto SANGA F.C., a sensory room has been established with the cooperation of the J.League, allowing children diagnosed with developmental disorders and their families, who experience symptoms such as sensory sensitivity, to watch the game comfortably.
We support safe and secure viewing tailored to the child in the sensory room. Moving forward, we will continue to operate the sensory room as an inclusive space where everyone can enjoy with a smile.
*In the 2021 season, four trial matches were held, and in the 2022 season, five matches have been conducted so far. Additionally, regarding the selection of spectators, we will work with relevant organizations and educational institutions to implement this at the club, so we appreciate your understanding.

【What is a Sensory Room】
A room designed with lighting that is not too bright and soundproofing to block loud noises and voices, providing a safe space away from crowds and surrounding gazes. It is intended for enjoying soccer matches or movies through soundproof glass. The premise is that although the ways of watching and enjoying may differ from the majority, the desire to "watch" and "enjoy" is the same as those without difficulties. In the English Premier League, 14 out of 20 teams have sensory rooms installed. (*Text quoted from JFA and J.League)
