FC Tokyo will hold a soccer tournament for 6th graders, "FC Tokyo Winter Cup 2022 supported by Sieg Corporation."

We will hold a tournament aimed at 6th graders from youth teams and club teams active in Tokyo, creating lasting memories for their final year of elementary school.
We sincerely look forward to the participation of many teams after confirming the overview and tournament guidelines below.

□Purpose
To provide tournaments and match opportunities for 6th grade elementary school students who have experienced various restrictions on their soccer activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to create memorable soccer experiences during their elementary school years.

* This is not a tournament participation format with accommodation. It will be a day trip.

□Match Venue
Tokyo Gas Fukagawa Ground (2-15-10 Sarue, Koto-ku, Tokyo)

□Number of Teams to Recruit (Planned)
Around 18 teams

□Participation Eligibility
・Teams mainly consisting of 6th graders from youth groups or club teams active in Tokyo
・Completion of the prescribed participation application procedures
・All members must be enrolled in sports injury insurance
・Ability to participate until the end of the tournament schedule (including reserve days)
・Agreement to the tournament organizer's policies and instructions (such as infection control measures) upon participation
・Teams must be composed of participants who have obtained parental consent; in principle, teams should have 8 to 16 participants

□Participation Fee
15,400 yen (including tax) / team

□ Tournament Format
・Rules based on the Japan Football Association competition regulations.
・Day 1: League matches with 4 teams in each block
　Day 2: League matches and ranking matches with 3 teams per ranking
・Each match consists of two halves of 15 minutes each (total 30 minutes), with a 5-minute halftime break.
・Pitch size is basically 68m × 50m.
・Refereeing is done by a single referee, with mutual refereeing by the competing teams.
・The ball used is size 4, provided by the organizer.
・Each team can register up to 16 players.
・Each team is scheduled to play 3 matches per day.
(Training matches and friendly matches are not allowed)

*If there are many applications, participating teams will be decided by lottery.
Regarding the lottery results, the deadline for response is Tuesday, November 29, and the contact person will be notified by email by the deadline.
If you do not receive an email by the day after the reply deadline, please contact the inquiry address below.

□Others
・In the future, the tournament format may be changed or canceled due to worsening conditions of the COVID-19 infection situation.
・Regarding guardian viewing, depending on the situation, viewing may be prohibited or the number of spectators may be limited.
We will provide a service where a professional photographer will take photos during the event and sell them on a dedicated website called 'Say Cheese!'
・The personal information we collect may be used to provide information related to FC Tokyo.
This event may be featured in various advertising media, including the homepage that introduces FC Tokyo's activities. Thank you for your understanding.
