[Announcement from Tokyo] Digital Securities (Security Token) Symposium Held
FC Tokyo signed a comprehensive partnership agreement called the "Wide Collaboration Agreement" with Tokyo Metropolis, its hometown, in March 2023, cooperating in various fields to further develop the capital, Tokyo, and improve services for its residents.

Digital securities issued using blockchain technology have features such as enabling issuance in small lots compared to traditional securities and allowing direct connections between issuers (companies, etc.) and investors. These characteristics are expected to accelerate the flow from savings to investment and contribute to the realization of a "nation of asset management." The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is working on projects to create diverse issuance cases, including supporting part of the expenses necessary for issuing digital securities. Based on these issuance cases, a symposium will be held to share know-how and challenges among stakeholders and to discuss further issuance. This event is conducted as part of the "Japan Fintech Week 2024" initiative organized by the Financial Services Agency.
