Top Team

Masataka KOBAYASHI visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Children's General Medical Center (Fuchu City), Donald McDonald House Fuchu, Sakakibara Memorial Hospital (Fuchu City), and Donald McDonald Family Room Sakakibara Memorial Hospital on May 13, 2024 (Monday) as part of a training program for newcomers, where he interacted with hospitalized children, their families, medical staff, and volunteers. This is to report.

The children were surprised by the visit of the professional soccer players, engaging in various conversations such as "You're tall" and "Your hands are big," and spent a harmonious time filled with many smiles.
We also received words from healthcare professionals saying, "Having professional soccer players come to us is uplifting and very encouraging for both the children and us."

On the day, the event was conducted with the accompaniment of Shuichi GONDA, the vice president, as part of the activities of the Japan Professional Footballers Association.

□FC Tokyo Masataka KOBAYASHI Comment
"This time, I had the opportunity to visit the Ronald McDonald House/Family Room and the hospital for the first time, and I think it was very good to learn about the facilities, the people working there, and the people using them. I am 18 years old now, and since I was able to learn about this at this timing, I want to work hard as an FC Tokyo player to first let more people know about it and to spread awareness about the facilities and activities."
