Announcement of the Captain for the 2026 Season (Meiji Yasuda J1 Century Vision League)
We are pleased to announce that Sei MUROYA has been appointed as captain, with Takahiro KO and Megumi SATO as vice-captains for the Meiji Yasuda J1 Century Vision League.

Captain
Sei MUROYA
I am proud to be given the opportunity to serve as captain of FC Tokyo. With this role comes a strong sense of responsibility, so while focusing on my play, I also want to constantly think about what I can do off the pitch to unite the team and act accordingly. However, it would be meaningless if being too conscious of off-pitch matters causes me to lose my usual performance on the pitch. I believe that being mindful of my own play ultimately leads to better team performance, so on the pitch, I want to enjoy the game without overthinking it.
Please fight with us again in the 2026 season!
Thank you for your continued support.
Vice Captain
Takahiro KO
I take responsibility for being given the role of vice-captain by Sei MUROYA and want to support the captain in my own way.
To win the title, we will work daily to become a group where everyone raises and challenges each other to high standards in regular training, striving to become a team worthy of victory.
Fans and supporters, let's fight together and share the joy of victory! Please continue to support us this season as well!
Player Kei Sato
I will be more aware and responsible than ever before to firmly support Takahiro KO and captain Sei MUROYA, and do my best to make a great team.
I will do my best so that I can proudly say, "I was the vice-captain when we won the championship."
Let's fight together to get excited!
