About 'Women's Health Week'
To comprehensively support women in living healthy, bright, and fulfilling lives independently throughout their lives, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare designates March 1 to 8 each year as "Women's Health Week" and promotes women's health as a national movement. During this period, Tokyo is engaged in awareness-raising efforts for women's specific cancers such as "cervical cancer" and "breast cancer," as well as "colorectal cancer," which is more common among women. Let's take this opportunity to reflect on our bodies.
