[FC Tokyo Soccer & Futsal School] Thailand Expedition Report - 5 Days of Experiencing the World and Expanding the Future -
At the FC Tokyo Soccer and Futsal School, a Thailand expedition was conducted from March 20 to 25 with 17 school students.
This expedition was conducted not only for the purpose of improving soccer and futsal skills, but also with the following objectives in mind.
- Challenging soccer and futsal in a different environment overseas
・Experience the local culture and lifestyle firsthand to broaden your horizons
・Experience interacting with people beyond the barriers of countries and languages
During the expedition, the children spent their days receiving many stimuli in an environment completely different from usual, including participating in tournaments and exchanges with local teams.
At first, the children showed signs of confusion and nervousness, but gradually many began to initiate conversations on their own, actively trying to communicate using gestures and limited words.
On the pitch, while experiencing differences in speed and physicality, players think for themselves and with their teammates about "how to succeed," fostering a challenging attitude. Off the pitch, they naturally learn the importance of cooperating and working together with their teammates.
These five days of experience were an invaluable learning opportunity that not only improved my soccer skills but also fostered the ability to think independently, take action, and understand others.
From the expressions of the children who finished the expedition, a clear sense of accomplishment, confidence, and noticeable growth could be felt.
