He played as an unwavering guardian at Yamaha Motor and contributed to the promotion from JFL to J League, and became a key player in the promotion to J League at his transferred club, Kyoto Purple SANGA. After retirement, he took on the role of GK coach to nurture the next generation, coaching at Gamba Osaka and INAC Kobe Leonessa. Since 2019, he has been showcasing his skills at FC Tokyo.
