[For 1st and 2nd Grade Elementary Students] Parent-Child Away Game Support Tour to Shimizu Match

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, FC Tokyo Soccer and Futsal School students and their parents went together on a day trip support tour to the away match against Shimizu S-Pulse!

The program for the day is...
① With Shimizu S-Pulse school students, the " Preliminary Match "
② High-five with players heading to warm up " High Five "
③ Watching the warm-up at pitch side " Warm-up Observation "
④ Entering the field together with players " Hand with Hand "
⑤ Watching the top team’s match with parents and children " Top Team Match Viewing ", was held♪

We gathered in front of Shinjuku Kogakuin University Shinjuku Campus at 6 a.m., and were able to depart safely without any latecomers.

Since it was early in the morning on the bus, the students and their parents were sound asleep on the bus.

Stopped by Ashigara SA on the way, and it was raining with chilly temperatures.

On the remaining journey to Shimizu, I boosted my spirits by watching a 2012 FC Tokyo DVD and arrived at IAI Stadium Nihondaira, the home ground of Shimizu S-Pulse♪

After arriving at the stadium, we listened to the coach of Shimizu S-Pulse, who explained important points to note for the preliminary match.

In the preliminary match, despite the unfortunate rainy weather, 22 school students ran around the pitch of IAI Stadium Nihondaira with all their might!

I believe they were able to fully demonstrate what they have been working on at each school on a daily basis.
Being able to play on the pitch where the players will compete later was probably an incredibly valuable experience for the school students.

Also, Go HATANO participated as a goalkeeper in the preliminary match as a surprise guest, providing a valuable experience for the school students♪

After the preliminary match ended, we held high-fives and observed the warm-up.

As the time for the high-five approached, the school students appeared very nervous.

During the high-fives when the players entered, I think we were able to feel the atmosphere of the players before the match while exchanging high-fives.

During the warm-up observation, GK coach Shota YAMASHITA and player Go HATANO surprised the school students watching by kicking the ball to them♪

The school students looked happy!
Actually observing beside the bench and being able to see the players' atmosphere and their play before the match was a very valuable experience.

After that, Coach Kotaro conducted a practice session in preparation for the handshake and photos with the players.

Since it will also be shown on TV, the school students practiced desperately.
In fact, the school students seemed unable to hide their nervousness both before and after holding hands with the players.

The group photo with the players at Hand with Hand was successfully completed, and the school students looked relieved.

After that, I returned to my seat and watched the match "2025 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 33 vs Shimizu S-Pulse".

The result unfortunately ended in a draw, but when player Megumi Sato scored a goal, both the school students and their parents jumped up and shared the joy!

We had such a valuable experience, expressed our gratitude to Shimizu S-Pulse, and boarded the bus after the match ended.

The journey home took four hours, but we safely arrived in front of Shinjuku Kogakuin University Shinjuku Campus.

We are truly grateful for the applause from the students and their guardians at the time of the disbandment!

We, the coaches of the promotion department, would like to continue working together to create more opportunities like this.
Everyone, thank you for your continued support!!
