When player Shirai appeared on the field, the eyes of the school students all lit up at once, and they welcomed him with loud applause and cheers.

Player Shirai told the school students, "Not only aiming to become a professional, but also enjoy playing soccer with your teammates now and work hard!"

Many questions flew from the school students to player Shirai, and in response to the question, "How do you maintain your motivation when you are dropped from the starting lineup?", player Shirai spoke as follows.

"Of course, it's frustrating to be dropped from the starting lineup, but I try to see it as an opportunity to review what I am currently lacking. I believe that if I keep working hard, the chance will definitely come again."

Many school students nodded vigorously at these words, their eyes shining brightly, which was impressive to see.

It was the moment when Shirai player's experience and thoughts firmly reached the hearts of the school students.
The children listened intently with serious expressions to the words spoken from a professional's unique perspective.

Also, player Shirai demonstrated the topic currently being worked on at the school, "Control," using an actual ball.

When player Shirai plays as a side back, he told the school students that he is conscious of controlling the ball placement slightly outside the kicking foot so that he can kick it vertically or diagonally.
He also explained what he is conscious of in preparation before receiving the ball!

From the school students, we saw them playing while applying what they learned from player Shirai, saying, "There are times when it overlaps with my own position, so I want to be aware of it and work on it immediately."

At the end, commemorative photos were taken and individual autographs were given, with the school students sending power to player Shirai through high-fives!

After the event, many positive comments such as "I will work harder on my practice!" and "I won't give up on my dream of becoming a professional!" were heard, indicating that it was a great motivation leading to future growth.

At FC Tokyo Soccer School, we will continue activities that nurture children's dreams and goals through opportunities to interact with top team players.
