[For 6th Grade Elementary Students] FC Tokyo Winter Cup 2025 supported by Sieg Corporation
On December 27th and 28th, over two days, "FC Tokyo Winter Cup 2025 supported by Sieg Corporation" was held!
Four 6th grade teams belonging to the FC Tokyo Soccer and Futsal School,
20 youth teams and club teams active in Tokyo gathered at the Tokyo Gas Fukagawa Ground to hold a two-day tournament.
Friends who usually train at the same school and students from other venues meeting for the first time faced the matches together as teammates over these two days.
At first, we could see that both sides were nervous, but as the matches progressed, a sense of camaraderie developed, the team's unity strengthened, and the number of team plays increased with each game.
After goals, there were many scenes of teammates exchanging high-fives and sharing their joy, with many moments reminiscent of FC Tokyo's top team goal scenes!
In addition, there were many matches between youth teams and club teams active in Tokyo that rarely have the opportunity to compete against each other, resulting in numerous intense and exciting games.
Among the 6th graders, there are players for whom this tournament will be their last in elementary school life. We hope that the experience gained through this tournament will be demonstrated on the next stage and lead to further success.
We look forward to the day when the opponents who fought in this tournament can once again play soccer together as teammates.
