Third day of the Thailand expedition, today is the second day of the tournament.

I had a proper meal from the morning today as well and prepared for the match.

Based on yesterday's match results, all the players gathered voluntarily for a meeting.
What should you do in the match, and what should you think about while playing?
Before the match, I brought the notes I had written and talked about them.

It was a moment when I felt growth, as they took the initiative to do such things on their own, not because the coaches told them to.

Today, on the second day of the tournament, the final matches of the preliminary league were held.
Although the result was a loss, unlike yesterday, we saw the players fighting hard against older opponents, showing significant growth.


After that, during the lunch break, I returned to the room, and when I peeked into the players' room, they were watching the FC Tokyo channel on YouTube, boosting their spirits together for the derby! As expected of FC Tokyo school students!
(When I told them the result later, everyone was disappointed...)

Afterwards, we held a practice match and concluded for the day.


It is difficult to achieve results against opponents who are older and physically larger, but even so, the players fight, hold their ground against the opponents, and you can feel their daily growth. It has been a very good expedition.
Also, following yesterday, the players voluntarily held a meeting among themselves.

Since we have come all the way for an overseas expedition, we brought souvenirs from Tokyo, and each player takes the opportunity to interact by speaking to people in Thailand and giving them gifts.
There was a player who was good at English, so everyone asked how to greet properly and actively started conversations.
As a result, they became friendly, took photos together, and some players even received uniforms in return. We are amazed at the players' high adaptability.
We coaches also want to interact and connect so that we do not lose.
