On Monday, May 30, 2016, the FC Tokyo Players' Association conducted a visit to elementary schools. In this 9th visit, the players were divided into 6 groups and participated in classes at 12 elementary schools in Tokyo, interacting with approximately 1,100 children.
□ Kazunori YOSHIMOTO (FC Tokyo Player Chairman) Comment
"Before conducting this elementary school visit, the players took the initiative to think about what to talk about and how to play soccer. Thanks to the help of many people such as school officials and club staff, we were able to make it a success. I am truly grateful."
In class, I was very happy to see the children participating so earnestly, energetically, and positively. I hope that what they heard from us and what they felt while playing soccer together will be of some use to them as they continue to grow.
The players have put a lot of thought into making it easy for children to understand, and by actually meeting with children, they were able to gain energy and power and grow as individuals. We hope to continue this activity in the future, so we ask the local community and fans and supporters to watch over FC Tokyo with warm eyes.
