2023 2nd CAMP REPORT & INTERVIEW
DAY2 Hisatoshi NISHIDO

On the second day of the Miyazaki camp, despite being a weekday, many fans and supporters came to watch the practice. And for the second consecutive day, the training took place under clear skies.

During practice, we played a positional game where we focused on expanding from the center back to the side and breaking through with cooperation, while being conscious of finishing.

The time has come to enter the final stage of preparation for the opening. On the pitch, we could see players communicating with each other and making detailed adjustments. When shots weren't going in or the ball couldn't be moved forward, not only coach Albert Puig Ortoneda but also the players would give a rallying cry, demanding high quality from the entire team.

We have been able to build up our training with a focus on combinations and accuracy until the finish. We will demonstrate this achievement in tomorrow's training match with Zweigen Kanazawa and accelerate our team building towards the opening.

<Hisatoshi NISHIDO>

How was the second day of the second camp, Q?
A, I returned at the Okinawa camp and I want to raise my condition one more step from the Miyazaki camp. After finishing the second day of training, thanks to the support of the medical staff, the situation is very good.

Q, I joined the practice late due to an injury, but how do you plan to make an impression from now on?
A, it is very frustrating to have joined late, but there is no point in regretting it, so I have been preparing to come back while I was injured. Right now, I think I am starting from the bottom due to being late. It is a difficult situation, but I want to overcome it and move forward in the future.

Q, What preparations have you made during your injury period?
A, I have been doing training to be conscious of using my buttocks because I injured myself due to using them incorrectly.

Q, Speaking of training your buttocks, I think Yuto NAGATOMO is doing it, do you have any advice?
A, I haven't been able to participate in Nagatomo's training due to timing, so if there is an opportunity to participate, I would like to. I spoke with Yuto NAGATOMO the other day and told him, "Please teach me next time," so if the timing is right, I would like him to teach me.

Q, How do you feel about the fierce competition among strong, skilled, and fast players as a side attacker in Tokyo?
A, There are many high-quality players in the side attackers, but there are no left-handed players with height, so that can become my strength and individuality. I want to use my left-handedness and try to keep up with the great players playing in this game.

Q, please appeal your own characteristics as we have not been able to deliver Hisatoshi NISHIDO's play to the fans and supporters yet.
I would like you to watch plays that push the team forward, such as using the strength of pushing forward when holding the ball, or going behind the opponent even without the ball, and advancing the team towards the goal.

Q, What do you focus on during the two practice matches during the camp period?
A, even during practice, each individual's quality is demanded, so the standards have increased since my university days and I feel the difficulty. In the practical setting of a practice match, I think the quality of passes and crosses is important, so I want to focus even more and pay attention to the details in my play.

Q, please tell us your goal for this season.
A, I don't care about being in my first year, I just want to play in the game while being careful about injuries. I believe that scoring goals is necessary for winning the league, so I will embody the "+1GOAL (one more goal)" style that the club has set for this season and work towards contributing to FC Tokyo's league victory through assists and goals.
