After recovery and conditioning adjustments following the practice match, today we conducted a second training session. The players were required to maintain high intensity and quick decision-making in each session.
In the ball possession practice, we checked how to build attacks from the sides. We focused on attacks that utilized the pitch widely, skillfully evading the quick checks from the defensive players.
After that, practical training was conducted. There were scenes where Coach Peter CKLAMOVSKI himself moved the ball to demonstrate the build-up from the back of our own territory and the target areas for passing. We confirmed how the entire team can work together to achieve our goal of breaking through and winning the ball in high positions.
During the afternoon training, we worked on set plays that we are particularly focusing on during this camp period. The attacking side practiced how to position themselves in front of the goal for the supplied balls. Meanwhile, the defensive side carefully reviewed how to set up to prevent the opponent from having any freedom.
After practice, we held a nutrition seminar with AJINOMOTO CO., INC., where we discussed when to take various products, including Amino Vital, before and after training and matches, as well as key points for maintaining high performance.

After practice, we conducted an interview with number 33, Kota TAWARATSUMIDA.

Q: What aspects are you focusing on during this camp?
I feel that things have been progressing smoothly since the camp started. We are focusing on improving the accuracy of crosses and shots, which will be crucial in the final stages, and I am consciously working on overcoming challenges during our individual training as well. I believe that the results of this accumulation were reflected in the practice match against FC Ryukyu. In this camp, I feel it is important to elevate all of our abilities, and I want to further enhance the quality of our play from here.
Q: I think there were many gains with 2 goals in the match against Ryukyu.
I think it was a goal that was well matched to the cross from the right side. I feel that both goals were achieved as a team. I am happy that we were able to score in a good way, and next, I want to break through the situation with individual skills and lead to more goals.
Q, the two goals were created from the collaboration with Ryotaro ARAKI. You can see the good compatibility.
A, I have a very good playing compatibility with Araki, and we are able to communicate during the play. He sends me passes at good timing, so I feel it makes it easier for me as well.
Q: With the addition of Keita ENDO and Tsuyoshi OGASHIWA, the competition for positions is heating up. How will you proceed towards the league opening?
I want to play for the team with my focus directed at myself, and I have no intention of losing in the competition for positions, so I will do my best to be able to participate in matches from the start of the season.
