Today marks the final day of the 17-day training camp.
In yesterday's Sanfrecce Hiroshima match, we won with a total score of 2-1. The players' coordination and strategy, which were built and polished during the camp period, were embodied on the pitch, and we are gradually seeing the glimpse of Peter Tokyo's team building from the start of the season.
The team will now return to Tokyo and begin their final preparations for the season opener in about two weeks.
On the final day of the camp, we interviewed coach Peter CKLAMOVSKI about his impressions of the camp.
Q, please give us an overall summary of the camp.
A, we were able to express what we wanted to do and it became a camp where the team developed. In yesterday's training match with Sanfrecce Hiroshima, we were able to express our style in terms of intensity, physicality, and football. We will now return to Tokyo. We want to build the team for the upcoming league opening.
Q, After going through the camp, it seems that the soccer that Coach Klamskovski aims for has been firmly incorporated into the team.
A, there are still many things that we need to do and we need to fight harder. In terms of football, we are starting to see good signs and good plays. It's about what kind of football we want to show and the perspective of it. There are positive and forward-looking signs in the team. During the camp period, we were able to show what kind of football we should play and what kind of mindset we should have. There are more exciting elements coming in.
Q, I can't wait for the league to start.
A, the players are approaching practice with a hungry spirit. The players are thinking positively about what kind of team they will become and what kind of soccer they will show. This is a very important thing.
Today, players attended a soccer clinic for children in Miyakonojo City. They spent about an hour interacting with local children through mini-games. A new bond was formed between the players and the participating children through soccer, and the venue was filled with smiles.
Thank you to everyone who participated, we had a great time.
