Q What are your thoughts on the camp so far?
A, I participated in the camp last year as well, but having the experience of being away from Tokyo for such a long period to train is quite rare, so I am really enjoying it now.
Q: Does participating in the camp as a professional player feel different?
A, I think that the way we are perceived will change, so we, who turned professional this year, must work hard not to lose. It is frustrating and absolutely unacceptable for the quality of the team to decline because of us joining, so the sense of determination and responsibility in that regard is different from when we were U-18.
Q: What do you feel when actually playing the football style of Coach Albert PUIG ORTONEDA?
I have never experienced such detailed calculations and meetings. I feel this is the professional world, and there is so much to learn, so right now I am focused on embodying the coach's style of football.
Q: After experiencing last year's camp, do you feel more relaxed mentally for this year's camp?
A, on the contrary, this year there is less leeway. Last year, I was in a position to participate in practice with the U-18 team, but this year the situation and the style of football are different, so I feel there is less leeway this year.
Q, is that regarding the position of participating as a professional that you mentioned earlier?
A, that's right. I always have the awareness that I must have the consciousness and determination as a professional.
Q: I often hear players say that they feel 'mentally exhausted.'
A, since there are many things to think about, if there is even a slight delay in judgment, it will stop the flow. We have to align ourselves with the football that the coach envisions, so we must always keep our minds fully engaged.
Q: The camp has reached its halfway point. Do you have any goals from here on?
I will work hard to promote myself more and break in regardless of being in my first year.
