INTERVIEW2022.1.28

Interview with Takuya AOKI

Q: How do you feel about becoming the manager, Albert PUIG ORTONEDA?
A, is it still not enough? I want to align the play that is ingrained in me with the play that Coach Albert PUIG ORTONEDA requires. Since it is only the 12th day of the team's activities, I want to continue to integrate and play both individually and as a team.

Q: Is it an image of resetting what you have experienced so far?
A, no, I believe it is important to continue utilizing what I have done so far while understanding and playing new things within myself.

Q: I think you often play while using your head, what do you think about that?
I understand what the coach is saying, and there are aspects where I am able to challenge myself against the required play. I believe we are still in the early stages, and what will be required from us will become more specific moving forward.

Q: How is your condition heading into the opening match?
A, my body is tough right now. I can't move at all (laughs). But this is camp, so I want to do my best.

Q: Has your approach to soccer changed in the first and second year since joining?
There are differences in soccer tactics and mindset, but I have played with various coaches so far, and I hope to adapt flexibly.
