Introduction to Sports Facilities
FC Tokyo has been managing and operating the 'Kami-igusa Sports Center' in Suginami City, the 'Koganei City General Gymnasium', the 'Koganei City Kuriyama Park Health Exercise Center' since April 1, 2009, the 'Myōjōji Gymnasium' in Suginami City since October 1, 2016, the 'Eifuku Gymnasium' in Suginami City since September 1, 2018, and the 'Shimo-takaido Athletic Ground' and 'Matsunoki Athletic Ground' in Suginami City since April 1, 2022.
The "designated manager system" is a system established by the 2003 revision of the Local Autonomy Law that allows the management of public facilities, which had previously been limited to public organizations (and investment corporations established by public organizations), to be carried out by general corporations such as private companies designated by local governments, as well as NPOs.
Since its founding, FC Tokyo has engaged in various activities to contribute to the local community. Recognizing the results of these efforts, FC Tokyo has been selected as the designated administrator for 4 terms at Kami-igusa Sports Center, 3 consecutive terms at two facilities in Koganei City, and newly for Suginami City Shimo-takaido Athletic Ground and Suginami City Matsunoki Athletic Ground. Going forward, in accordance with the team's core philosophy, FC Tokyo will continue to work on the management and operation of these facilities in cooperation with joint business partners.
