At the "2020 J League Share! Awards," which honors activities from the home towns and community engagement (Share!) of all 56 J League clubs that we particularly want to share widely with society, FC Tokyo received the 'Social Challenger Award.'
We would like to express our gratitude for receiving this award with the understanding and cooperation of everyone involved with FC Tokyo in relation to the club's hometown and community engagement activities.
From now on, we will continue to work on our daily hometown and community engagement activities to become a club that is loved and needed by the local community.

□Comments from the Selection Committee (Excerpt)
The idea of wanting to ensure that boys living in the hometown are not left behind by society is wonderful. By positively transforming the aspects that tend to be "hidden" through sports, it seems likely that the overall awareness of the community will rise, leading to the elimination of discrimination and prejudice.
- It is an activity that strongly demonstrates the significance of sports and athletes, as well as their influence. Encounters with athletes and the words they share provide courage and hope to young boys after their discharge, and it represents meaningful social collaboration (contribution) in the local community.
