□Akihiro HAYASHI Comment
"I will be leaving the team at the end of this season.
First of all, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the fans and supporters for these past two years.
I have been with FC Tokyo for a long period of 6 years. Especially in the last 2 years, even though I honestly felt that I had no value as a soccer player, I received many encouraging comments and words of concern from fans and supporters, which truly helped me.
I am grateful beyond words. That has been my feeling for the past two years.
At the same time, I have always thought that I want to show my gratitude to those who have supported me by leaving results, and I want to prepare in a way that I can demonstrate that. I believe that being able to show my presence back on the pitch is part of that.
Returning to the pitch in Tokyo has been quite difficult, and there are parts that I couldn't fulfill, but the feeling of not being able to be involved in the matches is my vitality. I have always carried the spirit of overcoming adversity while living in this professional world. I believe that spirit has not faded within me, and I want to challenge myself in a new environment, aiming to perform in a way that brings back the memory of Hayashi being part of the team FC Tokyo.
My only regret is that I couldn't achieve my goal of winning the league with FC Tokyo, which has been a challenge I have continued to uphold. It is a regret to leave this team without accomplishing that. However, I hope to bloom one or two more times in the remaining years of my football life, with a sense of gratitude, and to achieve success with any team I join. Until we meet again. Thank you.
