7/19 (Sat) Match against Urawa Cooperation with Tokyo's 'Easy Japanese'

Saturday, July 19, 2025 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 24 vs Urawa Reds (Kickoff at 19:00 / Ajinomoto Stadium) will conduct a PR campaign to promote the spread of 'Easy Japanese' in cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

Easy Japanese is Japanese made easier to understand by using simple words. We want many people to learn about "Easy Japanese" and aim for a kind Tokyo that is comfortable for everyone, including foreigners and people with or without disabilities.

1. Receive Original Collaboration Sticky Notes!
Collaboration sticky notes and collaboration flyers with FC Tokyo will be distributed at the main concourse (inside the venue).

2. Broadcast of Collaboration PR Video
A collaborative awareness video about "Easy Japanese" will be broadcast on the stadium's large video screen.

"Easy Japanese" refers to simple and easy-to-understand Japanese that considers the listener by rephrasing difficult words. The number of foreign residents living in Tokyo is approximately 730,000 and is increasing (as of April 2025), with diverse nationalities. To realize a multicultural society where Japanese and foreigners live and thrive together in the community, it is important to use "Easy Japanese" to communicate while mutually accommodating each other. Moreover, "Easy Japanese" is not only effective for foreigners but also serves as a highly effective tool for communication with children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and others. Efforts to use it are expanding in various fields such as administrative information, daily life information, and daily news dissemination.
