FC Tokyo, in collaboration with Chofu City and the Long Spoon Association, is working on the Food Ribbon Project to support securing food for children in the community. As a club, we will cooperate and promote this initiative. Under our social statement, "Goals that connect to the future of our lives," we aim to create a city wrapped in warmer support. Together, we strive to provide opportunities for local children to eat with peace of mind and realize a society where no one is left behind.
Going forward, based on collaboration with Chofu City and the Long Spoon Association, we will deepen cooperation with restaurant networks, local communities, and supporters, aiming to achieve results that serve as a model suitable for the first of its kind in Tokyo and can be expanded to other municipalities and regions.

□ What is the Food Ribbon Project
Towards a society where everyone can naturally and safely have "today's meal"
The Food Ribbon Project is an initiative that supports children’s "meal of the day" within the community. Through ribbons placed in restaurants, children can receive meals free of charge.
1. System
① Customers purchase a ribbon (300 yen including tax)
Customers prepay 300 yen (including tax) for a ribbon at the restaurant and display it inside the store.
② Children receive meals using ribbons
Children take one of the displayed ribbons and can eat one free meal at that store.*Eligible ages and usage times vary by store.
③Various types of stores
Cafes, set meal restaurants, izakayas, convenience stores, school cafeterias, hotels, kitchen cars, etc.
2. Features
・Purchasing ribbons is optional, and some stores have boards inside where you can write messages.
・The ribbons are made by people at welfare workshops, contributing to the creation of employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
・If an accompanying adult wishes to eat, they can join in by paying 300 yen.

“We are very honored to have the opportunity to be involved with FC Tokyo, Chofu City, and the Long Spoon Association at this historic timing and opportunity. We are always thinking about how to communicate the values and energy of our club through information and initiatives beyond soccer and sports, and how we can contribute to solving regional issues. Based on FC Tokyo’s social statement, ‘Goals that connect to the future of our lives,’ we want to continue challenging ourselves together with Chofu City, the Long Spoon Association, and everyone in the community to aim for a bright and prosperous future.”
