□ About the 'Project Team on Creating a Place to Address Children's Concerns'
The Children's and Families Agency aims to realize a 'child-centered society' where all children can grow up healthily and live happily throughout their lives.
To realize such a society, it is important to create an environment where children facing anxiety and worries, and going through difficult times, can easily open up from the child's perspective. We believe it is essential to empathize with their anxieties and worries and help resolve them. Therefore, we have established a "Project Team on Creating Spaces to Accept Children's Concerns," mainly composed of young staff within the agency and field experts such as local government personnel. This team is working on initiatives to create an environment where all children can confide their thoughts and worries to trusted adults.
