U-5 debut in April 2015, and after starting as "trainees", they made their first media appearance in the July issue of JUNON. The next day, they made their debut as "CUBERS" at a live performance. Last fall, they made their CD debut with "SHY", and their high musicality centered around medium funk has gained attention as a new and upcoming boy unit.
