[U-15 Fukagawa] 3rd Day of Korea Expedition
[Day 3 of the Korea Expedition]
FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa, update on the third day of the first-year students' expedition to South Korea.
We have迎ed a bitterly cold morning with a light dusting of snow.

Since I have gotten used to Korean food, Physical Coach Hirata mentioned in the meeting the night before, "Breakfast reflects daily life. Those who want to grow starting from tomorrow's breakfast should work on it." What kind of person do I want to become? How do I want to be now? These are things we can touch upon because this is a training camp where we share meals and rest together.

The opponent on the morning of the 3rd day was Boin Junior High School ※ We played against the 2nd-year students of a school ranked in the top 4 in Seoul.
There were also superb goals by players Dabure and Namai, but we conceded goals to a strong opponent, and the match ended 2-2.

We enjoyed traditional Korean cuisine for lunch after the match. All the Korean dishes were delicious, and both the players and staff were very satisfied.

The afternoon opponent was Kyunhee Middle School* This is also a school with the strength to advance to the top 4 in Seoul City. We played a match against their second-year students.
We took the lead in the 14th minute of the first half with a superb long-range shot by player Asano, but despite the efforts of goalkeeper Okada and defenders Kidera and Asakawa in the second half, we unfortunately ended the match with a 1-2 score.

During the trip, Coach Yamaguchi mentioned on the first day of the expedition that the use of mobile phones should be kept to a minimum and that communication with teammates should be valued.
They have become accustomed to traveling by microbus, and each person spends their time creatively inside the vehicle. There is chronic traffic congestion within Seoul city. Why does the traffic jam continue? We hope this will provide an opportunity to learn about the traffic situation in Korea. Also, during the long travel time, the players engage in various activities such as playing creatively, sleeping, and watching the scenery, gaining different kinds of learning experiences.

For dinner, we enjoyed traditional Korean dish Dak-galbi at a wonderful restaurant where locals also gather.

In the evening, we received a gift for the players from Suyeon's mother, who is coordinating locally.
Coach Yamaguchi often uses the phrase "Not taken for granted, everyday life, as an FC Tokyo player." He never hesitates to praise courageous challenges in various situations. What kind of person do you want to become? How do you want to approach things that are not going well or that you are not good at right now? The continuous effort to move people's hearts, be loved, and be supported as a player is ongoing even in Korea.

・Player Yuji Nakamine
After finishing the third day of the Korea expedition, there were many things forgotten that were necessary for the match in terms of soccer. The start of the game was not good, and the defensive intensity also dropped. We want to eliminate forgetfulness not only on the pitch but also in off-pitch preparations, so that we do not lose focus. On the offensive side, communication with Tsuyoshi NAKAMA and the movement after passing the ball were generally lacking in the team, making it difficult to advance. Therefore, when the ball reaches forwards or other front players, side halves and defensive midfielders should get more involved to help score goals. In terms of daily life, there are still people moving between rooms or making noise in the rooms, so those who notice should warn them, and we want to raise the team's value together. I myself sometimes lose focus and forget things, so I want to make sure to improve steadily in the remaining three days.
