[U-15 Fukagawa] Day 1 of Korea Expedition
[Day 1 of South Korea Expedition]
From Friday the 12th, the 1st-year students of U-15 Fukagawa are on an expedition to South Korea.
This time, the goal is to strengthen the team and experience different cultures mainly through TRM with a Korean team, in order to understand our current position.

I arrived at Gimpo Airport at 11:30. My breath was white, and a piercingly cold wind welcomed me.
First, food culture.

I enjoyed Korean cuisine and was able to encounter delicious kimchi. I will continue to take on food challenges during this expedition!
We will head to the first match held at 18:00, shaken by the microbus. It is three 30-minute periods against Jonan FC. This time, it is a match against U14 players.

In the 7th minute of the first half, Asano was fouled near the penalty area and scored directly from the free kick to take the lead. The team continued pressing from the front and kept up the offensive pressure. In the 25th minute of the first half, there was a chance from a corner kick, but the ball was lost and the opponent launched a powerful counterattack, equalizing to 1-1 by the end of the first half.
In the 6th minute of the second half, after entering with the intention to defend and eliminate the opponent's numerical advantage, defensive midfielder Ishihama cut off the opponent's build-up and scored a goal. The score extended to 2-1, but in the 30th minute of the second half, just before the end, they were caught off guard for a moment and the opponent equalized to 2-2.
Then, at the 13th minute of the third goal, the opponent connected from a cross in the center, resulting in a conceded goal and a reversal to 2-3.
At the 30th minute, when it seemed the game would end as it was, player Kidera, who had moved to right side back, fiercely defended, and the opponent cleared the ball, which center back player Asakawa skillfully controlled and took a long shot. This goal was scored, and the first match ended in a 3-3 draw.
To warm up your chilled body, have Seolleongtang and kimchi after the match!

After a fulfilling day, we prepare for the second day with rain or snow forecast!
・Kaito Asano
After the first day of the expedition to South Korea, my voice was leaking into the hallway while in the room, so I want to be more conscious of these three things: life in the room, communication with Korean people, and preparation for the match, including meals and sleep, especially since the environment is different.
The match ended in a draw, and as a team, we want to focus more on winning and losing. As for myself, I want to be conscious of scoring goals in such draw situations and important moments, and I aim to continue growing over the next five days.
