SOCIALSocial Activities

Materiality

At FC Tokyo, to realize our social statement, "Goals that connect to the future of our lives," we have organized a 'Social Vision' and 'Sustainability Material Issues (Materiality)' toward 2030 to clarify the value the club creates for society.

The club has so far promoted the growth of children, community health, the creation of spaces where diverse people can participate, and efforts to address regional and social issues through outreach activities, hometown activities, social collaboration activities, and environmental activities. Building on the “Sustainability Strategy” and the “Four Environmental Policies” centered on the environmental domain announced in February 2026, this materiality further develops these concepts and systematically organizes the social value FC Tokyo creates, including not only the environment but also people’s growth and health, local communities, and diverse participation opportunities.

Five Materialities

Based on its social statement, FC Tokyo has established five key priority issues (materiality). We will concretize initiatives linked to each priority issue and promote them toward realizing the social vision for 2030.
We will connect the five key issues (materiality) with co-creation with partner companies and transform them into economic value.

Four Environmental Policies

Climate Positive

Climate Positive Policy CLIMATE POSITIVE POLICY
We aim for a climate-positive society by uniting club management, challenges to new business models, fans, supporters, partners, local governments, and community members.

Transportation Guideline
We aim to realize transportation suitable for a climate-positive society.
Club staff and team travel will primarily use low-carbon transportation such as public transit and team buses.

  • We create an environment where fans and supporters choose low-carbon attendance through public transportation and other means.
  • We support the decarbonization efforts of transportation operators that facilitate access to the stadium.

100% Resource Circulation

Circular Design Policy: 100% Resource Circulation
We prioritize waste reduction above all else regarding the resources (raw materials, water, etc.) used and waste generated in our business activities. Through promoting reuse and recycling, we aim to circulate the value of resources as much as possible. To achieve this, we collaborate with stakeholders such as fans and supporters, partners, local governments, communities, business partners, and waste disposal companies, striving to realize a society with 100% resource circulation.

No Single Use Plastic Guideline
In accordance with the 100% Circular Resource Policy, we strive to reduce single-use plastics. The scope covers single-use plastics directly involved in and manageable within our business activities.

Nature Positive

Nature Positive Policy
A match environment that enhances the health and safety of players, fans, supporters, and club staff, as well as the quality of the competition.
The background to FC Tokyo's ongoing activities in daily life includes clean air and water, the blessings of the four seasons, and the urban nature where living creatures thrive. To connect the lifestyle of our hometown Tokyo to the future, we aim for a city where people and nature coexist, and act based on the concept of nature positivity.

Water Stewardship Guideline
Drinking water that supports the health of players and fans/supporters, the turf where players perform, and the infrastructure that supports daily life are all sustained by the water cycle. We collaborate to maintain the soundness* of the water cycle and enhance its resilience.
*Healthy Water Cycle: A state where the use of water and land is aligned with the natural rates of regeneration, infiltration, and storage

Sustainable Procurement

Sustainable Procurement Policy SUPPLY CHAIN POLICY
Based on our "Sustainability Strategy," we will continue to stably provide match environments and services that fans and supporters can enjoy with peace of mind, together with our business partners.

Ensuring Quality, Safety, and Stable Supply
We verify the specifications and supply systems of procured items and establish mechanisms to provide them stably.

Consideration for Environment, Human Rights, and Labor
We identify risks related to the environment, human rights, and labor concerning procured goods and business partners, and work on improvements as necessary.

Thorough Fair and Transparent Transactions
We enhance the transparency of transaction conditions and selection processes to conduct fair and sincere transactions.

Dialogue and Collaboration with Business Partners
Through dialogue with our business partners, we share challenges and ideas, promote improvements through collaboration, and deliver the results to our fans and supporters in the form of reassurance.
