- Born in Chofu City, Tokyo. During his active career, he played for Nissan.S Soccer Club/Yokohama F.Marinos and others. Starting from the 2002 season, he began his coaching career at the academy of his former club Yokohama F.Marinos, serving as youth team manager and top team coach, then held coaching and managerial positions at Albirex Niigata. From the 2025 season, he will lead the team as the manager of FC Tokyo.
