2025 Season “TOKYO GROW WITH” Program Activity Report ④
We report on the activities of the "TOKYO GROW WITH" program (student business staff) implemented from the 2025 season.
This program aims for student business staff to expand their potential through real-world sports experience and aspire to become the next generation of leaders.
Final Activity Report Meeting for Student Business Staff (Online)

In this program, five student business staff members were assigned to different departments, where they supported operations and worked on problem-solving.
At the final activity report meeting, each participant presented their past activities, achievements, and the lessons learned, reflecting on the entire program. It became an opportunity for each student business staff member to share the growth and insights gained through practical experience.
“TOKYO GROW WITH” Program Completion Ceremony
(Ajinomoto Stadium)

In this program, student business staff have learned the realities of club management through practical work in each department, home game operations, study sessions, and more over approximately nine months. As the culmination of this, after the 2025 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Round 38 home game vs Albirex Niigata, a completion ceremony for the program was held at Ajinomoto Stadium.
On the day, although unfortunately one person had to participate on a different day due to poor health, certificates of completion were handed to the four participating student business staff members by President Kawagishi and the student mentors.
Looking back on past activities, it was a time for students to share the experiences and growth they have gained through this program with many business staff members.
Comments from Student Business Staff
Public Relations and Promotion Department - Mr./Ms. S
As a student business staff member in the Public Relations and Promotion Department, I mainly worked at Kodaira Ground and gained valuable experience and many lessons. During the program period, I was involved in a wide range of tasks, including shooting and selecting photos for the team's TRAINING PHOTOS, as well as drafting captions for X posts.
What I was particularly conscious of was taking actions that lead to increased satisfaction for the fans and supporters who cheer for FC Tokyo. For example, although it is a small thing, I focused on delivering a sense of presence by selecting photos that convey the players' dynamism in the training photos. Also, during interaction events, I made sure to actively communicate so that visitors would not feel any inconvenience or dissatisfaction.
The tension and sense of responsibility that can only be experienced on site have become a great asset for me. I want to make use of this experience in the remainder of my student life and future, and grow into a person who can think and act from the perspective of others.
Merchandising Department - Mr. H
In this program, as part of the Merchandising Department, I was responsible for creating promotional banners for goods and making POP displays to be posted at the stadium goods shops. Initially, I was scheduled to prepare materials for requesting designs from another person, but by actually experiencing banner design, I was able to proactively learn the necessary design for promotion and effective ways to communicate products well.
Also, by learning about the process of creating new products and closely observing the shooting and promotion, I was able to experience what the merchandise domain is like.
Looking back on this activity, I believe it was a program that embodied my original motivation of "wanting to utilize the knowledge of actual on-site constraints in future design activities." Thank you very much for the valuable experience over the approximately nine months.
Area Promotion Department - Mr. O
Through the "TOKYO GROW WITH" program, I mainly participated in hometown activities and booth exhibitions at local events. In this era of advancing internet society, I once again realized the value of places where people can have hands-on experiences. Through the experience of interacting with the club, local residents change from "knowing about it" to "feeling close to it," and I was able to observe and learn from this process up close. Especially, the interaction with local children at events is a grassroots effort that leads to future fans and supporters, and I realized that this accumulation is what supports the club's foundation in the community.
I want to apply the experience of learning the significance and challenges of various activities to my future career path and practical work.
Operations Department - Mr. T
To ensure that attending fans have a more comfortable experience watching matches at the stadium, we focused on hospitality-driven management and took charge of the process of identifying issues, improving, and implementing based on visitor survey analysis. From the feedback received from fans and supporters, we recognized room for improvement in the signage inside and outside the stadium, so we organized all the signage and verified their effectiveness. Based on this, we created banners that are highly visible even during crowded times and clearly show the relationship between the current location and the destination at a glance, and successfully displayed them at three locations in the concourse.
Through this program, I realized the importance of understanding things from diverse perspectives and approaching issues while respecting each opinion. I sincerely appreciate the valuable experience made possible by the efforts of many people.
Entertainment Department, Mr. H
I mainly handle event management inside and outside the stadium on match days, and I find great fulfillment in thinking about how to make the club FC Tokyo and the event of the match appealing beyond just the sport of soccer.
Seeing everyone who came to the event I planned participate, and the stadium shining in blue and red with the penlights I controlled—being involved in the planning and operation of the event and experiencing the entire process until fans and supporters could enjoy it was a valuable experience that could only be gained through this program.
To everyone in the department who warmly welcomed me, to all the colleagues who always helped me, and to everyone involved, thank you very much. I will continue to support FC Tokyo from now on.
We hope that the experience gained from this program will support your future career development and challenges, and the entire club is cheering for your continued success!
We are also planning to implement the "TOKYO GROW WITH" program in the 2026/27 season. Details such as the application method will be announced on the club's official website and SNS as soon as they are decided.
