[Day 6 Activity Report]
On the second day of the tournament, we aimed to advance past the group stage and played two matches.
First, the match against Chelsea. Before this important game, in the locker room, players actively encouraged each other and communicated thoroughly down to the smallest details.
During the pre-match warm-up, players carefully move their bodies while checking the feel of the natural grass to get into condition. This is a crucial match that cannot be lost as we aim to advance past the group stage.
The players' morale is high, and their condition is perfect.
With a mix of tension and anticipation, the team unites as one and heads into the match!
Similar to the first match, although chances were created, it took some time to convert them into goals. However, by persistently continuing the attack, the team scored 2 goals and secured their first victory in this tournament.
We will continue this good momentum as we head into the second match.
The opponent in the second match was Strasbourg. Although we struggled with their build-up play at the start and were somewhat pressed back, we capitalized on their mistake to score the opening goal. In the second half, we used the flanks as a base, added another goal from a cross, and took control of the match, finishing the final group stage game with a victory. We successfully secured advancement to the upper league!
In the early stages of the tournament, there were moments when scoring opportunities were not fully capitalized on, but the finishing accuracy has improved with each match. We want to continue this momentum in the upper league starting tomorrow.
Tomorrow, we will face two matches against top league teams, Toulouse and Marseille!
