[For 3rd to 6th Grade Elementary Students] In-School Exchange Match at Ajinomoto Stadium

School Report

On Tuesday, May 5th (National Holiday), an "In-School Exchange Match" was held at FC Tokyo's home stadium, Ajinomoto Stadium, for 3rd to 6th grade elementary school students attending the FC Tokyo Soccer and Futsal School.

On the day, nearly 150 school students participated, forming teams with friends they usually train with at the school as well as new friends they met for the first time, and held an exchange match!

The event was held under heat and strong sunlight that felt unusual for early May, but the venue was energized by technical and passionate play that far surpassed the heat!

During the breaks between matches, the assigned coach continuously provided feedback on the game content, and conversations among the school students never ceased. You could sense that they were focused on competing, saying things like "Let's do this in the next match" and "If we win the next one, we should be able to become champions!" showing their competitive spirit even during regular school sessions.

During the match, especially when a goal was scored, loud cheers from teammates, coaches, and watching parents could be heard, and the sight of the school students being energetic was very impressive.

There were moments where the players actively shared what went well and what they found challenging, and there were also reunions with teammates who had moved to different classes and coaches who had previously been in charge, resulting in many conversations full of smiles beyond just the matches.

At the announcement of the rankings, applause was given not only to the championship team but to all teams, reflecting the warmth of the FC Tokyo family, including coaches, school students, and parents.

It was a valuable opportunity for the school students to unite and get excited at the same stadium as the top team!!
