Q: Since the team activities have resumed, we have limited time for practice. What is the focus of your training?
First, we are preparing for the matches against Avispa Fukuoka and Cerezo Osaka, but we will be competing with a significantly limited squad for the Fukuoka match. We must keep in mind that many players who tested positive for COVID-19 have not yet returned. I believe this match will also serve the purpose of restoring the players' physical condition. Of course, we will not compromise on our competitive spirit, and our focus on establishing our playing style and growing will not change. However, regarding the Fukuoka match, I think it will take on the meaning of a readjustment for the league matches.
Q: Regarding the resumption of team activities, after meeting the players for the first time in about a week, what did you feel when you saw their expressions and movements?
A, of course, I felt a strong desire to play and was filled with the eagerness to enjoy soccer once again. Furthermore, I sensed a positive attitude towards practice.
Q: I believe fans and supporters are looking forward to the matches in Tokyo. Please share your message.
A, as I have said before, this season will be a difficult one. And there is no doubt that this current challenge has made the season even tougher. However, I believe that by overcoming this difficulty, we can return as a stronger team. Therefore, I hope you will patiently watch over the team. Please continue to support the team as you have until now. We are all fighting together for the future of Tokyo. I hope that all our fans and supporters will support us with all their might.
