[Player/Coach Comments]
"Ryoya OGAWA"
"As a team, in the first half, we were pushed back by the opponent and couldn't play our best soccer."
We were able to increase our physical activity from the second half, and as a result, we had more opportunities to break through and were able to catch up from 0-2 to 2-2. I think it was a very good thing.
As an individual, there are still many areas that are lacking, and I think there were moments where I could have adjusted my crosses better for my teammates.
I always think that I have to leave results.
(How did the team change from the first half to the second half?) We just focused on not letting the opponent get behind us and being more aggressive in winning the ball.
I think we gradually became able to pick up balls and second balls, and from there we were able to set our own pace.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?)
We have played well in the last two games, but we have only earned one point.
We hope to have a game where we can secure 3 points next time.
Also, I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans and supporters who fought with us in the hot weather today.
Thank you for your continued support for the next game.
"Takuya UCHIDA"
"In the first half, we lost all the ball battles and one-on-ones, and were unable to take control of the game."
In the second half, our attack gained depth as we became more conscious of moving forward and winning the ball, and I was able to score following Insoo YU's goal, which was great.
However, while it was important to score, I am not satisfied with the rest of our play.
I hope we can make more chances besides scoring and play better in both offense and defense.
We are particularly focused on shooting practice, as we want to score more points.
(What is the difference between the first and second half?)
During halftime, Coach Nakamura spoke to us and our mindset changed.
Each individual has become more aggressive in approaching the ball, and I think the feeling of not giving up has emerged.
(Looking back on my first goal of the season)
At first, I thought about breaking through with a one-two pass with player Kobayashi (Miki), but there was a vertical opening from player Suzuki, so I received the ball.
I was able to calmly shoot because I was able to avoid the opponent with a trap.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?)
I was able to score my first professional goal, so I want to continue scoring with this momentum.
We want to create chances even in attack, and in defense, we want to reduce the number of goals we conceded this round.
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"The fact that our fans and supporters cheered us on with such loud voices in the extreme heat."
Also, I would like to express my gratitude for fighting together until the very end.
The game was very disappointing.
Fukushima was definitely playing with all their might from the start of the game and playing good soccer.
Fortunately, we were able to hold on with only 2 points conceded, and in the end we were able to score 2 points in some chances and catch up.
I think it was a really simple game.
I feel that the attitude of competing for the ball, switching, and heading towards the goal was honestly much inferior in Tokyo.
I also talked to the players about the same thing, but it was a very disappointing game considering that we couldn't do what we did in the previous game.
However, by managing to keep the goals conceded to just 2 points, we were able to score 2 points in the end and I believe that the fact that we were able to continue fighting without giving up will be a positive factor for us in the future.
