[Player and Coach Comments]
Player Mikiharu Kobayashi
"It was good that we were able to score one goal, but it would have been better if we could have added another goal in the first half, and I think that is a challenge for us."
One of the issues is that we couldn't create many chances in the second half.
In that match, although the defense conceded one goal, I don't think it's a negative thing that they held on and managed to draw.
(Were there no over-age players?)
In the last three matches, over-age players participated and we achieved three consecutive victories, but I wanted to prove that we can win even without the over-age players.
It was disappointing that it ended in a draw.
(What are your thoughts on this match?)
In the previous match, I watched from the bench, and we ended up losing 0-3, even with some players being sent off.
It was a very frustrating result.
I wish I could repay that debt, but I wanted to win.
(What about the goal scene?)
The pass connected well on the left side, and it came to me in a good position.
When I received it, I decided to face forward and take a shot.
I hit the opponent, but I'm glad it went in.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?)
Today, many fans and supporters came from Tokyo despite the typhoon.
Next is at home, and I want to ensure that we can deliver a victory in front of many fans and supporters at home.
《Go HATANO》
"We conceded a goal at the start of the second half, and the second half turned into a situation where we were pushed back."
We were subjected to many shots, but in the next match, I want to coach in a way that prevents us from being shot at and protect the goal.
(What changes did you make in your awareness between upwind and downwind?)
In the second half, we faced a headwind, so I had experienced that long balls would carry more from the warm-up stage, and I was particularly aware of that aspect.
I also had the impression that they were actively taking shots, so I made sure to always be prepared.
(There were many good defenses, weren't there?)
I think the results came from always being prepared in practice.
(Message to the fans and supporters who rushed to Okinawa)
I don't know if the return flight will take off, but I hope you return to Tokyo safely.
And above all, thank you very much for your strong support in this weather.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
"Despite the extremely bad weather, when we arrived at the match venue, many Tokyo fans and supporters were there to greet us.
I felt grateful and told the players to take points and come back.
In the first half, standing with the wind at our backs, I conveyed that we should be proactive.
Since we lost 0-3 last time, we really wanted to earn points this match, and the players were very proactive in their efforts.
As planned, we were able to score one goal in the first half, but compared to the last three matches, perhaps due to the absence of over-age players, we still lack strength.
Our time of attack has been decreasing over time.
That part still needs to be strengthened.
In the second half, after standing downwind, they defended well and managed to hold off the opponent's fierce attacks, conceding only one goal until the end.
A few matches ago, when we played with only young members like today, we would concede one goal and then follow it up with two or three more, especially conceding goals consecutively from set pieces.
Being able to overcome that was a part where I felt the players' growth.
