[Player and Coach Comments]
《Kensuke NAGAI》
"The opening goal was good because of Na SANGHO's cross, so I just had to connect with it."
(Reflecting on the second goal)
"Since practice, we have been working on cutting back and delivering cross balls. At that moment, I thought the ball would come near, so I was able to connect well, and the results of our practice showed."
(Two consecutive goals in the league. The reason for the good form is)
"We are able to attack in a good rhythm. Other players are creating good opportunities to rest while observing the situation up front, so I think we are able to focus more on our attacks."
(Recently, the awareness of scoring has been very high)
"Today, we conceded the first goal, and I thought it would be a tough match if we didn't manage to score at least one point. I was thinking that if there was a chance to shoot, we should take it."
(Has the first goal for the national team led to confidence?)
"It has given me confidence, and from there, I have been able to play with a good rhythm. As my confidence grows, the plays I can make are also increasing."
(It feels like the attack is being activated)
"There are many players like Na SANGHO and Kotaro who can make a difference, so everyone is able to play in a way that suits those players. I think it's a very good rhythm."
《Na SANGHO》
"We conceded the opening goal and the start wasn't good, but I believe that our determination to fight without giving up led to our victory."
(Na SANGHO's work rate and breakthrough ability are driving the attack)
"Not just myself, but the desire to win is evident from the players around me. Personally, it took time to fit in at the beginning of the season, but as I play, the players around me are trying to adjust to me. I am playing with the intention of responding to that feeling."
(In the previous match, I scored, and in this match, I showed plays that contributed to scoring. The reason for my current good form is)
"When I get the chance to play in a match, I play with the mindset of seizing every opportunity. It is because I was able to take advantage of those chances that I believe I have earned my starting position now. I want to continue to meet the coach's expectations."
(As the season enters the second half, I am once again aware of the following)
"I believe that a strong start in the second half will give the team momentum, and if we can maintain that to finish in a good position, I hope to achieve that. I want to do my best to win the next match as well."
(Enthusiasm for the upcoming Tamagawa Classico)
"As we face Kawasaki in a top-tier match, we will be playing at home, so we want to prepare thoroughly for the next game and definitely seize victory."
《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference with Director Kenta HASEGAWA》
"We were able to win against the strong G Osaka, and the players did a great job. I'm glad we could secure 3 points at home."
However, the start was not good. We couldn't pick up the second balls, and our line dropped. In that situation, if we allow dangerous balls to be played in, we can concede goals like that. We need to be more focused. It's good that we managed to come from behind to win in the last two matches, but we want to correct the part where we concede the opening goal. Our next opponent is Kawasaki Frontale, and it will be another tough match. Kawasaki also concedes few goals. I don't think we can score easily. If we happen to concede, we must make sure to recover.
In this seven-match series, the players really worked hard. Although we didn't have a good start, drawing 1-1 against C Osaka in the second match of the Levain Cup was significant. From there, the players' determination changed, leading to results. I want them to take a good rest and prepare well for the match against Kawasaki.
(What were the areas where the start of the match was not good?)
"We couldn't pick up the second balls, and our defensive line dropped back due to being drawn in by the opponent's forwards. Although we made adjustments ourselves from midway through, G Osaka also pulled back after taking the lead. We were able to push the game forward, so I think the opponent was significantly drained of their stamina. We managed to score while they were pulled back, and I believe the players did well to switch their mindset and fight effectively."
(Kensuke NAGAI with 2 goals. Recently, his skill has been improving)
"Kensuke is a really good person, so he used to pass during chances until last year. He should play more towards the goal."
The FW has started to show plays heading towards the goal, needing to score. Being selected for the national team has also shown confidence. The sense of becoming a striker is emerging.
(Placing Na SANGHO on the left side has improved our movement)
"The right side isn't bad, but he performs better when playing on the left. The goal from the last match has boosted his confidence, and he's a player good enough to be selected for the South Korean national team. I hope he powers up even more from here."
《G Osaka - Tsuneyasu MIYAMOTO Coach Press Conference Summary》
(Right wing-back player Onose has returned from injury. What is the intention?)
"Onose played for just over 60 minutes in the Emperor's Cup against Sanuki and was judged to be able to play to some extent."
(They were reversed at the end of the first half. How do you view losing momentum after taking the lead?)
"The opponent continued to have possession of the ball, and we couldn't attack."
The players were trying to manage the game carefully after scoring the first goal quickly.
They were defending tenaciously, but after conceding one goal, they conceded a second goal just two minutes later. It was very regrettable.
(In the second half, Endo was brought on. It was the development we aimed for, but we couldn't score until the end)
"The reason we couldn't score was due to the players' slow decision-making and some fine saves by the GK.
Whether to advance the match with a score of 2-1 or to hold the ball after conceding 3 goals makes a difference. The easy goal conceded echoed until the end.
I think we were wary of the two top players in Tokyo.
We need to be careful of the counterattacks, and if we lose the ball carelessly, the side midfielders will gain momentum.
We were able to respond to the attack with just two forwards to some extent, but we were caught off guard by Na SANGHO's movements.
The first goal conceded was due to a deep cut into the side. There was a problem in the one-on-one situation.
