As a result of this decision, the final round of the East-West League, where the champion teams will compete for the true Japanese title, the "Emperor's Cup JFA U-18 Soccer Premier League 2020 Final", will also be cancelled.

In addition, in response to the cancellation, preparations are being made for the establishment of a new joint league for the 20 teams of the Premier League to participate in the "Prince League 2020" (held in 9 regions with 88 teams) limited to the 2020 fiscal year.
