[Important] Regarding spectator manners for the 8/1 (Sat) Tosu match

【7/30 Update】
We have made some changes to the "Prohibited Actions" icon, so we have updated it.



In the case of extremely strict security measures and during games under strict security conditions, in addition to the J-League's common viewing manners and rules, new measures have been established for game hosting and viewing methods as a countermeasure against the novel coronavirus infection.
FC Tokyo will proceed with preparations for matches in accordance with the "J.League New Coronavirus Infection Control Guidelines".

Please check the following for spectator manners at the 2020 Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League Sec. 8 match against Sagan Tosu (kickoff at 19:00/Ajinomoto Stadium) on Saturday, August 1st.
There is a possibility that restrictions, transition periods, and operating methods may change suddenly depending on the spread of the new coronavirus infection, government announcements, and decisions of each local government.

Changes from the 7/18 Urawa match
①In order to comply with spectator manners, we will prohibit bringing in alcohol.
Drinking alcohol inside the venue is strictly prohibited. If found, it will be confiscated. (Non-returnable)
② In order to alleviate congestion when exiting, regulated exits will be implemented.
③We plan to display banners (flags, banners, etc.) with a time difference from the perspective of infection prevention.


What is required of all visitors
(1)Please have the courage to refrain from attending if it is not possible.
・If you are not feeling well (e.g. fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, abnormal taste or smell)
・If there is a person who is suspected of being infected with COVID-19 among family members or close acquaintances
・If you have traveled to countries or regions where the government has imposed entry restrictions or requires a quarantine period within the past 14 days, or if you have had close contact with residents of those countries or regions

(2) Please refrain from shaking hands, hugging, etc.

(3) Please maintain social distance (when entering and exiting, in lines for the restroom, etc.).
※Please use the restroom or shop during times other than just before the start of the game or during halftime, as it may be crowded.

(4) Please wear a mask at the stadium.
※If you remove your mask as a heatstroke countermeasure, please be sure to take sufficient care of social distance and cough etiquette.

(5) Please wash your hands and disinfect your hands frequently.
※Please bring disinfectant (portable bottle, etc.) from the perspective of infection prevention.

(6) Bringing alcohol is prohibited. Drinking alcohol inside the stadium is strictly prohibited. If found, it will be confiscated. (Not returnable)

□ Items to bring when watching a game
When coming to the stadium, please bring the following items in addition to your ticket.
・Mask
・Handkerchief

□Entry and exit to the stadium
(1)Your body temperature will be measured at the entrance gate, and if it is 37.5 degrees or higher, you will not be allowed to enter. Please note that even if you are refused entry, there will be no refunds. In addition, we may ask for your contact information when refusing entry.

(2) Hand sanitizers will be installed at all entrances. Please be sure to disinfect your hands.
※Please bring disinfectant in a portable bottle or similar container and regularly disinfect your hands from a prevention standpoint against infection.

(3) The entrance gates vary depending on the type of seat. (See the diagram below)
・Main 3 Gates: Main SS Seats, Main S Seats
・North Gate 2: Center Seats, Back Seats, Home Seats


(4) We plan to have regulated exits after the game from the perspective of infection prevention.
We are planning to have the following players leave the field in order, but we will announce it inside the stadium each time, so please follow the instructions and cooperate with us in leaving the field. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please note that due to the regulation expulsion, there will be no circulation to the stands after the end of the game. Thank you for your understanding.
・Players will start the regulation expulsion after leaving the pitch.
・1st: Main SS seats, Main S seats
・2nd: Home seats
・3rd: Center seats, Back seats
※We plan to announce the expulsion every 5-10 minutes.
※During the players' greetings, customers of any seat type may leave.


(5) Re-entry is not allowed.

(6) We do not reserve a place to secure the order of admission before the opening.

□Events and Shops
(1) Events will be held with sufficient consideration for social distancing.
※Information about the events will be provided on the official homepage and other sources.

(2) Mascots will not perform greetings outside the field or in the concourse.
※Mascot appearance details will be announced on the official homepage, etc.

(3) Food and drink (excluding alcohol) will be sold.
*Alcohol sales are not available. Also, bringing alcohol is prohibited. Drinking alcohol inside the venue is strictly prohibited. If found, it will be confiscated. (Not returnable)
*Due to expected congestion at the venue's shops, please bring non-alcoholic food and drinks for infection prevention purposes.
※Information on the food and beverage vendors that will be available can be found on the official homepage.

(4) Goods will be sold.
※The participating stores will be announced on the official homepage, etc.

(5) No temporary smoking area will be set up.

When lining up at events, food and drink stalls, and merchandise stalls, please be mindful of social distancing and leave space between each other.

□How to Watch
(1)During the game, it is prohibited to move from your seat (sitting next to someone without leaving space, moving to the front of the stand to talk to players, moving to a dry spot during rain, etc.).

(2) There are no visitor seats available. Please note that entry, viewing, and cheering while wearing the away team's uniform or merchandise is not allowed.

Please maintain social distance even outside the (3) stadiums, and avoid behaviors that pose a risk of infection such as shouting, singing, and cheering loudly, as well as gathering closely together.

The designated locations for displaying banners (flags, banners, etc.) are predetermined. Please refrain from displaying them in locations other than the designated ones. Please follow the instructions of the staff when displaying them.

・We plan to stagger the display of banners (flags, banners, etc.) from an infection prevention standpoint.
・For those who are preparing banners (flags, banners, etc.), please gather at the "Euro Sports Ajinomoto Stadium Store Triangle Plaza" inside the stadium grounds 120 minutes before the opening.
・For those who are preparing in advance, please note that you will not be allowed to enter if your temperature is 37.5 degrees or higher.
・Also, displaying banners (flags, banners, etc.) after the opening is also possible.

※Visiting team's banners cannot be displayed.
※The use of tape when attaching banners is prohibited.


□Other Prohibited Items
・Please arrive at the stadium after the opening time when visiting.
・Please refrain from waiting for players or officials near the player bus area or near the entrance.
・Please do not come to the stadium or its surrounding area if you do not have a ticket.

J League Unified Prohibition Rules (J League Common Spectator Manners & Rules) and FC Tokyo Soccer Match Management Regulations, as well as J League New Coronavirus Infection Control Guidelines, please comply with them.

□Q&A
Q1. I'm feeling a little unwell, but my temperature is not over 37.5 degrees. Is it okay for me to go to the stadium?
A1. If you are feeling unwell, please have the courage to refrain from attending the event, regardless of your body temperature.

Q2. Is there a shuttle bus?
A2. During the super strict security period (with a limit of 5,000 people or less), shuttle buses will not be in operation. Please use regular buses instead.

Q3. Is there a waiting line before the gate opens?
A3.There is no waiting line before the opening. All seats are designated seats. Please refrain from coming to the stadium before the opening.

Q4. Will AO-AKA PARK be held?
A4. AO-AKA PARK will not be held during the super strict security period (limited to 5,000 people or less). Please enjoy AO-AKA PARK Online, which is being streamed on the official YouTube channel.

Q5. Can I bring in drinks and food containing alcohol?
A5. Bringing alcohol is prohibited. In order to comply with stadium viewing manners, we ask that you refrain from drinking inside the stadium. Bringing food and drinks other than alcohol is not restricted. However, as usual, bottles and cans must be transferred to paper cups.

Q6. Will it not be crowded during entry and exit?
A6. Please expect congestion when arriving just before the start of the match. Please arrive with plenty of time to spare.
In addition, in order to alleviate congestion at the time of exit, we will implement regulated exits after the end of the game.


Q7. Is it okay to put a uniform on the empty seat next to me?
A7. No problem. However, please let those around you know before placing it.

Q8. How can we liven up the atmosphere when announcing the members?
A8. Shouting and cheering, as well as clapping to incite those around you, are prohibited. Please use applause to liven up the atmosphere.

Q9. It's been a while since I've been to Ajinomoto Stadium. I want to sing "You'll Never Walk Alone" and welcome the players.
A9. Singing out loud is prohibited. It is possible to hold up a scarf, etc.

Q10. How can we get excited when players enter?
A10. Shouting and clapping to incite the surrounding crowd is prohibited. Please use applause to cheer instead.

Q11. Is it okay to hold up a towel scarf?
A11. No problem.
However, please refrain from displaying anything that may cause inconvenience to those around you. Also, waving or spinning towels or scarves is prohibited.

Q12. Can I raise a gate flag (game flag)?
A12. Posting gate flags is not prohibited. However, please refrain from posting them in a way that may cause inconvenience to those around you.

Q13. Do we have to be quiet during the game?
A13. There is no prohibition on natural voices and applause during the game. Please applaud actively for good plays and support the players.
However, hand clapping and cheering with voices that lead to group support are prohibited for infection prevention.

Q14. Is it allowed to move seats when it rains or when players approach?
Please refrain from moving from your seat during the game.

Q15. Are there any rules for waiting in line inside the stadium?
A15. Please follow the guidance (such as floor markings) and maintain social distance while waiting in line at food and merchandise stands, as well as restrooms.
Please avoid using the restroom or shops during the busy times before the start of the game or during halftime.

Q16. Are there any food and drink vendors inside the stadium?
A16.Stadium shops are open. However, alcoholic beverages are not sold.
In addition, outside of alcohol food and drinks are allowed to be brought in. Please consider bringing your own items to help alleviate congestion inside the venue.

Q17. Is it okay to take off the mask even though it's hot?
A17. It is not a problem to remove your mask as a heatstroke prevention measure. If you do remove your mask, please be sure to maintain a social distance from those around you and practice proper cough etiquette.

Q18. Is there a merchandise store?
A18. The merchandise store will be open, but the items for sale will be limited.
There are no new products available on the day of the match, so please consider using the official online store.

Q19. Is there a gachagacha?
A19. We sell gachapon, but it is not sold through regular vending machines. Our sales staff will hand you the products.
Also, please refrain from exchanging goods and other actions that may cause congestion.

Q20. Is alcohol disinfection installed?
A20. Alcohol disinfection is available inside the venue, but please bring your own alcohol disinfection as much as possible.

Q21. Is a mask sold inside the venue if I forget to bring one?
Q21. Masks are not sold at the stadium. Please make sure to bring your own.

Q22. Is there a smoking area?
A22. Not installed inside the stadium.
