Kenta (Kenta HASEGAWA), who loves and excels at soccer, is one of the many classmates in Class 4-3 that the protagonist Maruko of "Chibi Maruko-chan" attends. In fact, this Kenta is modeled after Kenta HASEGAWA, the coach of FC Tokyo. The original author of "Chibi Maruko-chan", Momoko Sakura, and Coach HASEGAWA were classmates in elementary school and even shared the same class at one point.
