About Impersonation on SNS

There have been numerous unacceptable posts on social media impersonating real fans and supporters, making aggressive statements, and containing discriminatory expressions, prejudice, and defamation against other clubs and their players. The emotional scars suffered by those who have been victims of impersonation, as well as the players, officials, and fans of other clubs who have seen those posts, are immeasurable. Such despicable acts that make it appear as if real fans and supporters have made those statements are absolutely intolerable.

In accordance with the J-League's unified prohibitions on discriminatory or insulting remarks or actions regarding race, skin color, gender, language, religion, politics, or origin, our club issued the message 'FAIR SUPPORT FOR ALL BY ALL' in September 2014 and is committed to eliminating discrimination, provocation, and nuisance behaviors.

There are various interpretations of what statements or actions may be considered insulting and discriminatory, but what is important is how the recipient feels. Regardless of this impersonation incident, FC Tokyo absolutely does not tolerate statements or actions that are perceived as aggressive, insulting, or discriminatory.

If you find any impersonating accounts, please promptly report them to the respective social media companies for deletion requests and other procedures.
